‘Anne’s Big Adventure’ for Hear My Voice event

A street performance for children involving poetry, drama, dance, music and asuitcase of props including bubbles, glitter, an umbrella, a book and torch. The performance told the fictional story of a young girl in Barnsley who got lost and had to find her way back home travelling on the Elsecar steam railway, through the mines at Cortonwood Colliery and all the way back to Locke Park. The promenade style performance was performed in the town centre in and around the Barnsley markets for members of the community.
