Schools and Education

Qdos work in a wide variety of settings including primary and secondary schools, under-fives and nursery, colleges, universities and adult education. Our work is founded on the educational philosophy that all young people have the right to high-quality arts provision that can challenge, inform and inspire. Qdos has a regional and national reputation as a leading provider of innovative projects for young people and has been established since 1995.

Performers create new ‘mini-performances’ exploring enterprise, anti-racism, anti-social behaviour and bullying to meet the needs of the school curriculum. All our performances and projects strive for excellence and aim to unlock creativity, encouraging young people to reach their full potential. Bespoke packages are available to cover all areas of the curriculum and out-of-school projects.

Qdos workshops in schools are designed to give the participants an opportunity to broaden their knowledge, express their opinions and enjoy an experience of creative and performance skills. Emphasis is placed on team work, mutual respect and the value of individual contributions. The workshops aim to be a motivating and positive experience for the participants. Qdos can offer workshops for primary and secondary schools exploring specific issues, curriculum areas, INSET sessions and bespoke packages.

All our workers are fully insured, CRB-checked and have a minimum of a degree in an arts subject. All projects are managed and supported by the experienced Qdos team with input on planning, delivery and evaluation.
